The Piano Owner's Home Companion : A Reference Guide

For lay readers and piano owners, Snyder, a piano tuner-technician who has worked for many well-known musicians, provides instructions on piano care, based on questions from his own clients. He discusses types, how to clean the inside and outside, why a piano needs tuning, voicing and regulation, do-it-yourself repairs, and protection from the elements and moths. Diagrams and a glossary are included. There is no index or bibliography. The volume is a revised edition of The Piano Owner's Manual, first published in 1981.
