The trial of Robbie Munro’s life: one month to prove he’s fit to be a father. Easy – apart from the small matter of a double-murder in which Robbie’s landlord, Jake Turpie, is implicated. Robbie has a choice: look after his daughter or look after his client. McIntyre's outstanding third mystery featuring Scottish defense counsel Robbie Munro perfectly blends humor and investigation. Readers will want to see a lot more of the endearing Robbie. --Starred review, Publishers WeeklyA Scottish crime thriller with a great lead in lawyer Robbie Munro and a cast of reprobates to keep you guessing, laughing and on the edge of your seat - a cracking read. --Gregor FisherLast Will is a reminder of how good Scottish crime writing is... Robbie Munro, defence lawyer, struggling Dad, always flying by the seat of his pants, is great fun to be with. --Paul Burke, Nudge BookFunny, intelligent and realistic...The dialogue sparks, the personal relationships built between our main protagonist and the supporting cast is hugely compelling and overall I really can't recommend this highly enough. --Liz Barnsley, Liz Loves Books blog
