Developed from the proceedings of the workshop (on title), held in Annapolis, Maryland, June 1990, to bring together scientists from diverse disciplines in cancer biology, epidemiology, molecular biology, genetics, immunology, gerontology, and drug resistance to discuss the possible underlying factors that may account for the increase in cancer incidence and mortality among the elderly.
