God's Dream Come True : Mary

“May it be done to me according to your will.” With this simple affirmation, a young woman from Nazareth, through her own free will, changed history forever. In God’s Dream Come True: Mary, Monsignor Jeremiah Kenney reflects on one of the most important moments in all of Christianity, Mary’s “yes” to God. Through careful exploration of Scripture and Catholic tradition, Monsignor Kenney takes us on a journey that explores the importance of Mary as a person willing to set aside her own desires to serve God and in doing so, sets an example of motherhood to the world. With her assent, Mary becomes the mother of Jesus, committed raising the son of God, raising him, guiding him, and ultimately witnessing his sacrifice that would redeem all of mankind.
