The authors (all of the Peterson Institute for International Economics) conduct an analysis of the trade and gross domestic product gains that they argue could result from current proposals being discussed during the longstanding Doha round of World Trade Organization negotiations, revising and updating their analysis from an earlier Institute working paper, "What's on the Table? The Doha Round as of August 2009." They provide results for the United States, the European Union, Japan, Brazil, India, and China and discuss issues of agriculture and nonagricultural market access. They also address proposals related to negotiations over trade rules in services, chemicals, information technology and electronics/electrical goods, environmental goods, and trade facilitation.
