Lepers in the Mariana Islands during the Spanish Administration, 1668-1898, and Addenda (1899-1949)

This work is a compilation of references to la lepra (leprosy) in the Mariana Islands during the Spanish Administration (1668–1898). The references are found primarily in documents housed in the Spanish Documents Collection of the Richard Flores Taitano Micronesian Area Research Center at the University of Guam. A brief addenda encompasses references from the American Naval Administration of Guam and the post–World War II period, 1899–1949. illus.
