This book showcases applications of Genre Pedagogies informed by Systemic Functional Linguistics to teaching and learning in higher education through writing. While these approaches have been used extensively in school education, especially in Australia (where they originated), this book focuses on how these are being applied and adapted for use in the tertiary sector, first in Australia and then in universities in five other countries.
